Description:

For the TU Delft A measuring bolt was developed, with the help of which forces on the front wheels of a wheelchair can be measured. By replacing a wheel axle with the MB1787, which generates an analog output signal of 4..20mA, the current force acting on the wheel can be displayed using a PLC.
This enables a better understanding of the weight distribution as well as the feed and friction forces on a wheelchair.
