Connecting force measuring bolts with plugs using an SAC cable

Measuring bolts with plugs are connected to an external measuring amplifier or an evaluation unit using a matching SAC cable (sensor/actuator connector). This cable connects the respective pin on the measuring bolt plug to the respective connection of the subsequent device using a specifically colored cable wire. The respective cable color can be assigned to a connection function using the “Pin-to-Cable” connection plans.

This is how you assign the cable wires correctly:

  • Find out the wiring code. You can find this on the “Output Signal & Wiring” page of the data sheet for the respective measuring bolt.
    Example: WC58
  • Select the wiring diagram from the list below. Compare the cable designation on the connection cable with that in the wiring diagram. If everything matches, you can now assign the colors of the cable wires to the respective electronic function.
